Take ETN carrier from Guanajuato to GUANAJUATO. It is about 3.5 hrs.
From bus terminal to centro down town, there is fixed price taxi can take cost 127 peso.
No nego required since it is standard/official charge based on different zone distance.
I like the system that no hassle to nego the taxi price when you arrive a new city.
Instituto Cultural Cabanas/ Hospicio Cabañas is the must see site. I do enjoy the exploration of the historical building and painting. There is a free tour offering that you can leverage. The tour guide is very knowledgable and passionate. I love his style and attitude very much.
