Better to stay in Luxor for 2 days 1st day can go to East bank to see Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, Luxor museum, take felucca trip on sunset. 2nd day can take hot air balloon trip and sightseeing as Hatshepsut Temple, Valley of the Kings, Madinet Habu, Colossys of Memnon. In one day also possible, but not all. From Cairo to Luxor can go by airplane. Aswan is a bit far away from Luxor, if you want to visit Aswan can take night train or airplane from Cairo to Aswan and after from Aswan go to Luxor, on the way can visit Edfu and Kom Ombo Tempes, also from Aswan can go to Abu Simble.
